What do you specialize in?
General practice: maintaining wellness (vaccines, dentistry, parasite prevention), routine and advanced surgeries with a visiting boarded surgeon. Ultrasound with a visiting internal medicine specialist. ECG with a visiting cardiologist.

What do you love about servicing the area?
I love being a part of the close-knit community of Somers. I also love that we are in an area with many opportunities for outdoor activities while being near NYC and all that it has to offer — the best of both worlds!

Brief background:
I purchased the practice in 2019 and was previously employed at an 8-doctor practice in Rhinebeck, NY. I have two young sons, a Boxer and a leopard gecko. I have a special interest in dentistry and have taken additional CE courses (or had additional training – however you want to phrase it) in this field. I am a certified Fear Free practitioner. In my spare time, I love to get outdoors with my family, explore great places to eat in the Hudson Valley, and visit the museums in NYC. I am currently serving as President of the Hudson Valley Veterinary Medical Society.

Mission Statement:
To provide outstanding customer service, client support, and patient care. We are committed to practicing veterinary medicine with integrity, compassion, and the continued pursuit of knowledge. Treating every pet as our own and – to paraphrase our motto: “Providing the best care for your best friend.”
