Lincolndale Veterinary Center Careers

Lincolndale Veterinary Center is a boutique clinic with a big heart. We’ve made a reputation for ourselves as the place to go in Northern Westchester for outstanding client service and, as we like to say, “The best care for your best friends.”

We strive to make every client interaction exceptional. No question goes unanswered, no concern is left unaddressed.

And we recognize that no two pets are alike. We relate to each animal as an individual. Pets are our clients’ family members and we treat them that way.

As a team member at our growing 2-doctor practice you’ll get to work and grow with a tight-knit group of professionals that count on each other. We are AAHA certified, practice Fear Free techniques and embrace new technologies that help us serve the animals we see, including digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, in-house blood machines, ultrasound and laser therapy. We work hard every day for loyal customers that appreciate what we do.

Working here isn’t like most other veterinary jobs; that’s why our team members tend to stick around. We offer:

  • Personal pet care discounts
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Uniform allowance
  • SIMPLE IRA Retirement plan with employer matching
  • Vacation time including paid vacation day for employee birthday
  • Signing bonus

We’re always on the lookout for our next great team member at all levels of our practice. If you share our passion for teamwork, professional development, cutting-edge medicine and top-notch, personalized customer service, we’d love to hear from you. Send an email telling us a little bit about you – and include your resume – to: jobs@lincolndalevet.com.

Open Positions

Associate Veterinarian

Veterinary medicine is hard—but it’s also beautiful. It’s the moment a client trusts you with their pet’s care. It’s a team that has your back on a chaotic morning. It’s knowing you did the right thing, even when it wasn’t the easy thing.

If you’re looking for a place where that kind of work matters—welcome to Lincolndale.

Who We Are
We’re a small but mighty, AAHA-accredited small animal practice in Westchester County, New York, serving a loyal community of pet owners who genuinely appreciate what we do. We’re known for our warm relationships, high-quality medicine, and thoughtful care—for our patients, our clients, and each other.

We’re also growing—and we’re looking for a like-minded Associate Veterinarian to grow with us.

Where You Come In
This is a daytime-only position. No nights. No weekends. No on-call. Just meaningful work with a team that values you. (Full disclosure: we’re busy enough that we’re thinking about adding one evening a week, so flexibility in that regard is a big plus.)

You’ll:

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality care for dogs, cats, and the occasional local critter
  • Lead by example and mentor our assistants and support staff
  • Help supervise and guide the team when the practice owner is off-site
  • Work closely with the Practice Manager and Owner to keep our workflows smooth and our team supported
  • Build and maintain the trusting, respectful relationships that make our clients lifelong fans
  • Bring ideas, initiative, and a little joy to the exam room every day

What We’re Looking For

  • DVM or VMD licensed in New York
  • Strong communicator, both with clients and teammates
  • Willing to mentor and lead with kindness and clarity
  • A clinician who loves the medicine and the people
  • Comfortable making decisions and keeping things running when needed
  • Available for a full-time weekday schedule (no weekends)

What You’ll Get

  • A practice that wants your input and supports your growth
  • A team that laughs together, works hard, and (mostly) leaves on time
  • Clients who trust you because you’ve earned it
  • AAHA-level medicine with digital X-ray, Oncura ultrasound, in-house labs, therapeutic laser, and Pulse EMR
  • A leadership team that prioritizes emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing
  • Competitive salary
  • Health insurance stipend
  • Generous CE budget
  • Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave
  • Retirement plan with employer matching
  • Employee pet discounts
  • A genuinely family-friendly environment

If you’re looking for a practice where you can grow as a doctor, lead with integrity, and feel
like your work matters, let’s talk.

We can’t wait to meet you.
