Lincolndale Veterinary Center Careers

Lincolndale Veterinary Center is a boutique clinic with a big heart. We’ve made a reputation for ourselves as the place to go in Northern Westchester for outstanding client service and, as we like to say, “The best care for your best friends.”

We strive to make every client interaction exceptional. No question goes unanswered, no concern is left unaddressed.

And we recognize that no two pets are alike. We relate to each animal as an individual. Pets are our clients’ family members and we treat them that way.

As a team member at our growing 2-doctor practice you’ll get to work and grow with a tight-knit group of professionals that count on each other. We are AAHA certified, practice Fear Free techniques and embrace new technologies that help us serve the animals we see, including digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, in-house blood machines, ultrasound and laser therapy. We work hard every day for loyal customers that appreciate what we do.

Working here isn’t like most other veterinary jobs; that’s why our team members tend to stick around. We offer:

  • Personal pet care discounts
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Uniform allowance
  • SIMPLE IRA Retirement plan with employer matching
  • Vacation time including paid vacation day for employee birthday
  • Signing bonus

We’re always on the lookout for our next great team member at all levels of our practice. If you share our passion for teamwork, professional development, cutting-edge medicine and top-notch, personalized customer service, we’d love to hear from you. Send an email telling us a little bit about you – and include your resume – to: jobs@lincolndalevet.com.

Veterinary Assistant - The Heart of the Front Desk

If you’re the kind of person who notices when a patient’s tail wags a little slower, who thinks ahead and restocks the drawers before anyone asks, and who treats every pet and person with the same calm respect, then you might just be our next Veterinary Assistant.

Who We Are:

Lincolndale Veterinary Center is an AAHA-accredited, independently owned small animal practice with a reputation for doing things right for our clients, our patients, and our team. Our clients give us five stars on Google and make us a Nextdoor Neighborhood Fave year after year.
We’re not a big corporate machine. We’re a small, tight-knit group that shows up for each other every day.
We’re looking for a new team member, and that’s where you come in.

What You’ll Do:

Some days, you’ll be holding a nervous puppy. Other days, you’re prepping a patient for surgery or explaining post-op care to a worried pet parent. You might be attending a CE class or sharpening your skill set. No two days are the same, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

You’ll:

  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
  • Monitor hospitalized patients and provide daily care
  • Handle pets with compassion and confidence
  • Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and your head clear and organized
  • Communicate kindly and clearly with clients (and coworkers)
  • Support a team that supports you right back

You won’t just help us keep the place running, you’ll help us make it better every day.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1+ years of experience in a veterinary or animal care setting preferred
  • Veterinary Assistant program completion is a plus—but not required if you’ve got the skills
  • Ability to multitask without melting down
  • Strong communication skills and a kind heart
  • Availability for some evenings is a bonus

What You’ll Get:

  • A real team, not just coworkers
  • A place where your opinion and effort matter
  • Opportunities to learn, grow, and do work you’re proud of
  • Competitive hourly wage
  • Health insurance stipend
  • Two weeks PTO + extra time off at major holidays – and your birthday!
  • SIMPLE retirement plan with employer matching
  • Pet care discounts
  • Professional development support

Why Us?

Because we believe in relationships over quotas. Because we greet our patients by name. Because our clients trust us, and our team has fun even when it’s busy.
If you’re looking for a place where you can bring your whole self to work – and be appreciated for it – we’d love to meet you.
Send your resume (and a note about what makes you a great fit) to jobs@lincolndalevet.com.
