Pet Ultrasound

Ultrasound allows us to investigate diseases of the soft tissue, things that may not show up well on x-rays, in a painless and non-invasive way. Pet ultrasound uses sound waves to create images of the internal organs and structures of the body. It is an important tool that can be used to diagnose a variety of conditions, including heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, and cancer. It can also be used to detect pregnancy and to monitor the health of developing fetuses. We perform ultrasounds in-house and in consultation with a boarded internist.
